FundoScope is an educational reference application for learning how to interpret fundus (retinal) images. This policy explains how the app handles information.
FundoScope does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. It makes no network connections to send your data anywhere.
To provide its learning features, FundoScope saves a small amount of data locally on your device only — such as your quiz scores, learning streak, and a flag noting that you have completed onboarding. This information never leaves your device, is never transmitted to us or to any third party, and is removed when you delete the app.
All fundus images and clinical reference content included in the app are for educational purposes. FundoScope does not access your device camera or photo library, and it does not capture, upload, or store any patient images.
The app includes an optional Feedback tab that opens an external survey (a Google Form) in your web browser. If you choose to complete it, any information you submit is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. Using the survey is entirely optional, and the app itself does not collect the responses.
FundoScope is intended for clinicians, students, and other adult learners. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
FundoScope is an educational tool and is not a diagnostic device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or guide the care of any patient. Always correlate with clinical presentation and appropriate professional judgment.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
